JPMorgan Chase Product Director Consumer Bank Sales Incentive and Growth Team in Columbus, Ohio

As a Product Director on the Consumer Bank Sales Incentive and Growth team, you lead innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. As a leader on the team, you leverage your advanced capabilities to challenge traditional approaches, remove barriers to success, and foster a culture of continuous innovation that helps inspire cross-functional teams create groundbreaking solutions that address customer needs.

As part of the Consumer Bank Sales Incentive and Growth team, you will be dedicated to enhancing client experiences and driving branch performance through innovative incentive plans and comprehensive reporting. You will help empower branch employees and leadership with real-time insights into sales and customer experience metrics, supporting 45,000 employees and managing a $500 million incentive budget. You will also play a crucial role in creating specialized websites and developing tools for HR Incentive Administration, ensuring robust field support. Your dedication to advancing infrastructure and modernization is pivotal in shaping the future of sales and service support, enabling branches to excel in meeting client needs.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversees the product roadmap, vision, development, execution, risk management, and business growth targets

  • Leads the entire product life cycle through planning, execution, and future development by continuously adapting, developing new products and methodologies, managing risks, and achieving business targets like cost, features, reusability, and reliability to support growth

  • Coaches and mentors the product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods, product adoption strategies, and product delivery, enabling them to effectively deliver on objectives

  • Owns product performance and is accountable for investing in enhancements to achieve business objectives

  • Monitors market trends and conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product differentiation.

  • Drives branch performance and client satisfaction through innovative incentive plans.

  • Delivers real-time insights and comprehensive reporting to support branch and leadership teams.

  • Creates and maintain specialized websites for targeted Consumer Bank initiatives.

  • Provides critical data for various teams, including Branch Scorecard, GS&I, Compliance, and Sales practices.

  • Develops advanced tools for HR Incentive Administration to support field operations.

  • Manages a significant incentive budget impacting thousands of branch employees.

  • Focuses on infrastructure advancement and modernization to meet evolving field support needs.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 8+ years of experience or equivalent expertise delivering products, projects, or technology applications

  • Extensive knowledge of the product development life cycle, technical design, and data analytics

  • Proven ability to influence the adoption of key product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management

  • Experience driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions

  • Experience in a strategic role, such as management consulting, strategic planning, or finance.

  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations to senior management and influence multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the capacity to quickly learn and develop new strategic frameworks.

  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to drive change across a large, complex organization.

  • Experience in anticipating and proactively addressing senior management concerns, building consensus, and enabling decision-making.

  • Decisive and able to operate effectively in ambiguous situations.

  • Capable of working autonomously in a fast-paced environment and leading multiple work streams from start to finish

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Recognized thought leader within a related field

  • BS/BA degree highly preferred.

  • Financial services experience with experience in retail banking and/or wealth management preferred.

  • Intellectually curious, customer-obsessed, team-oriented, and high energy level with passion for driving quantifiable business results.

  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel Experience.
