Accenture Oracle/Cloud Senior Project Manager* in Columbus, Ohio

You are:

The Oracle/Cloud Senior Project Manager provides overall project and customer management on large scale Oracle and Cloud upgrades and migrations.

The Work:

  • Manage large Oracle and Cloud migration projects to the public cloud in addition to Oracle EBS Database and Application Upgrade projects.

  • Coordinate with Sales and other internal teams to determine scope and project deliverables based on a contract.

  • Prepare initial project management documents and tools based on templates including project plans, kick off presentations, RAID logs, and other project management tools (MS Project, SmartSheet).

  • Lead customer calls and work with the DBA and Infrastructure teams for problem resolution and issue tracking.

  • Coordinate the resolution of technical and customer problems, escalating issues and inquiries when necessary.

  • Assume responsibility for project timecards and budget tracking.

  • Work with the assigned DBA and Infrastructure team resources and customer to develop the project timeline and tasks.

  • Experience with Oracle EBS Applications strongly preferred. Experience with JDE applications is also acceptable.

  • Experience managing large scale SQL Server upgrades and Azure migrations

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with Oracle ERP systems, including (not limited to) Financials, 11i, R12, and other related technologies

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Software/ERP Implementation Project Management

  • Prior Experience working for a Consulting/Advisory company

  • Prior experience working in the Financial Industry and proven knowledge in the field

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Bonus points if:

  • You have the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines at the same time.

  • You have experience with server/system migrations one or more of the following:

  • Oracle OCI

  • Amazon Web Services

  • Google Cloud Platform

  • Private Cloud

  • You have experience managing

  • You have proficiency with project tracking tools like MS Project, SmartSheet, MS Office, Service Now.

  • You have the ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks.

  • You have the ability to work a flexible schedule as needed to achieve project commitments.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
