Be part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to develop, implement and maintain method and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies. Using your technical expertise, you will estimate manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines. You will add value and expertise to the (insert site supported) by identifying cost reduction and yield improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Able to create, read and modified detailed engineering drawings
Create project simulations
Design engineering experiments
Create technical reports for internal/external customers
Completing regulatory documents concerning quality issues
Finishing projects on time and within budget
Communicating with internal/external customers
Sound concept to Lean manufacturing concepts and implementations
Idea generation to reduce waste, cost and improve safety and quality
Work well in both team and individual projects
Mentor technicians to improve overall knowledge
Cost improvement analysis
Drive technical solutions in real time
YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering
WE VALUE
Greenbelt/DFSS certified
Ability to work independently
Willingness to learn new technologies
Mechanical Engineering experience or education background
Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work
Proficient project management skills
Good knowledge of mechanical, pressure, torque and load sensor industry
Cause identification/FMEA experience
Working knowledge of SAP/HOS/Oracle
