What Project Management & Regulatory Sciences contributes to Cardinal Health

Cardinal Health Regulatory Sciences provides global product development consulting services that enable biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device companies to accelerate the journey to regulatory approval. We offers integrated solutions across the product lifecycle from early-stage development through commercialization. The Manager, Project Management will be instrumental in establishing a PMO - ultimately managing project budgets and reports on the status of project cost, timing, and staffing. This person will also contribute to organizing project teams, establishes project schedules and individual responsibilities, and determining resource requirements.

Location - Fully remote (travel minimal, if any)

Responsibilities

  • Lead effort to establish PMO

  • Manage each phase of project lifecycle from start to finish, keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and up to quality standards.

  • Provide status and coordination to clients including, but not limited to, in-flight project status, issue tracking, and resolution.

  • Determine resource requirements (including staffing) of project based on project specifications

  • Manage 3rd party vendor communication/coordination.

  • Builds relationships with internal business owners to help streamline processes.

  • Monitor team backlog and prioritize activities.

  • Recommends new practices, processes, metrics, or models.

  • Contribute to forecasting, revenue recognition, and financial matters related to client projects.

  • Take on additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry (specifically involvement in drug development), strongly preferred

  • Ideally targeting an individual highly skilled in project management, preferred (PMP certification is a strong preference as well, though not a requirement).

  • Prior leadership experience a plus, though not required

  • Proven ability to manage and delegate effectively, required

  • Skilled in budgeting, prioritizing, and managing risks

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with executive facing presentation experience

  • Experience with Excel, Outlook, and project management software preferred

  • Continuous improvement identification and leadership

  • Works on or may lead multiple complex projects of large scope

Anticipated Pay Range $103,500.00 - 142,8500.00 USD
