Description
We are on the hunt for an experienced Senior Learning and Organizational Development Consultant to join our Enterprise Leader and Colleague Development team in Human Resources. In this role, you'll be tasked with capitalizing on your extensive expertise in learning and development strategy and design to consult with leaders at all levels to understand, architect, and manage comprehensive, high-impact talent solutions related to manager and colleague effectiveness and experience. Your consulting skills will be crucial in building relationships, interpreting internal customer needs, leveraging internal and external data and industry best practices, swiftly building and iterating on effective solutions, and helping to shape future talent development strategy.
Reporting to the Director, Leadership Development , the colleague will be responsible for:
Consultation on leadership, colleague, and career development needs at all levels including most senior leaders
Lead variety of strategic and tactical initiatives related to talent development
Partner with internal stakeholders and leaders to drive high-performance culture of professional and career development
Establish, maintain partnerships, and be key point of contact for enterprise development for the segment development partners
Provide support to Talent leaders, HRLT, and HRBPs
Architect and develop solutions and materials to meet customer needs
Research, analyze, and share actionable insights on talent development information & trends (internal and external)
Manage large-scale or enterprise-wide development programs with eye to continuous process improvement to best meet development needs of the organization
Ability to tailor development solutions to audience and coach in the moment
Build rapport and interface with leaders at all levels including most senior level
Lead the intake, discovery, and prioritization workboard to document and resource requests and work
Experience in other aspects of L&D including curriculum design, instructional design and facilitation with deeper expertise in one or more area
Lead the consulting practice and process and coach others
Facilitate meetings, working sessions, and/or strategy sessions
Key contact for development vendors
Lead projects, as assigned
Excellent presentation and writing skills
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Organization Development, Learning and Development, Human Resources or Business, or related experience.
7+ years’ experience in a broad range of Learning and Organization Development responsibilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree preferred
Strong consultative skills with a service orientation
Strong project management skills, including planning and execution, with demonstrated ability to achieve planned results
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
Ability to work effectively with and influence stakeholders at multiple organization levels from executives to individual contributors
Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to build and maintain productive partnerships both internally and externally
Business acumen with an understanding of how learning and organization development can positively influence business results
Strong verbal and written communication skills including building and executing communication plans across all stakeholder levels
Understanding of change management methodology
Understanding of effective application of learning and development media, including online training and live virtual training environments
Understanding of adult learning methodologies and techniques
Ability to work with general direction and exercise independent judgment within the scope of general direction
Passion for bringing out the best in others and demonstrating commitment to building a high-performance culture
Demonstrated success in developing and supporting implementation of quality learning and/or organization development solutions to meet strategic business needs
Knowledge of current learning and organization development best practices
Experience working with third party vendors from sourcing to delivery
Demonstrated track record of successful project and management
Computer proficiency: Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills
