JPMorgan Chase Learning Lead III: Digital Instructional Designer, VP in Columbus, Ohio
The VP Learning Lead III works to identify, recommend, and create digital learning solutions that help the lines of business meet business goals within our Digital, Operations and Technology Learning organization. The primary responsibilities of this position are to design digital learning content across the Professional Skills, Analyst and Technology learning curricula. The VP Learning Lead III also oversees development and implementation of learning strategies to reimagine existing and new training programs and supports complex training projects that impact large business initiatives.
Create cutting edge digital learning that grabs learners, drives their learning and engages them with digital and virtual learning.
Creates and implements learning products consistent with adult learning theory that effectively conveys key information and achieves learning objectives
Remain current with the latest market training innovations /product offerings and constantly suggest innovative training solution
Proven consulting, negotiation and influencing skills
Coach and lead other digital designers and Instructional designers to drive best practice and the highest standards
Investigate, analyze and evaluate digital learning tools, skills, and approaches to ensure the team are leveraging modern learning techniques
Demonstrated ability to successfully give and receive feedback at all levels of the organization
Executive presence with and ability to deliver succinct impactful messaging
Proven accomplishment in building relationships with customers and internal clients
Partner with Learning Partners, and other key stakeholders to evaluate and address curriculum gaps.
Leverage, support, and at times, lead Learning Squads (workgroups) to drive new approaches, best practices and common standards.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ensure compliance of project activities with audit and risk policies and the highest aspirations of the firm's business principles.
Qualifications, Experience & Attributes
Bachelor's degree learning and development, instructional design, educational technology, Digital and Interaction Design, Communication Design or similar degree (preferred)
5-10 years of experience working closely with subject matter experts to develop training strategies and solutions
5-10 years' experience designing, developing, and implementing instructional design solutions. Experience with leading digital media or projects in an agile environment (strongly preferred)
At least 5 years of experience with learning content development tools, (Articulate Storyline/360, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Design Suite, Vyond and Camtasia)
Experience with audio and video editing software
Demonstrate experience with industry-standard methodologies, such as ADDIE and SAM models, Blooms Taxonomy, Kirkpatrick and Phillips' Levels of Evaluation
Proven consulting, negotiation and influencing skills
Strong executive presence with and ability to deliver succinct impactful messaging Strong experience in training design / solutions utilizing multiple approaches (classroom, web ex, e-learning, communities of practice etc.)
Proven ability to embrace change and quickly learn the applicability of new concepts specifically related to the application of digital technologies (e.g., Augmented Reality and Simulations, learning in the flow of work, Adaptive learning, Education Technologies based on Artificial Intelligence, Big Data)
