Graham Elementary and Middle School Elementary School Teacher in Columbus, Ohio

GEMS is looking for an Elementary Teacher (K-5) for the 24-25 school year.  We are an EL Education{rel="nofollow"} K-8 charter school in Columbus, Ohio located by The Ohio State University's campus. Compensation

K-5 Classroom Teacher

The classroom teacher is responsible for the education of each student in his or her class and is responsible for working with students, parents, and other teachers and staff towards achieving the mission and goals of Graham Elementary and Middle School. 

The classroom teacher will:

Plan challenging and engaging lessons based on the Ohio and Common Core State Standards

Set high academic achievement expectations

Differentiate instruction to support all students in the learning process

Incorporate literacy across all content areas

Provide opportunities for student engagement through "Voice and Choice"

Plan, support and collaborate with fellow educators and staff

Plan and implement interdisciplinary projects (Expeditions) on grade level teams
