As the Director of Product Management, you will partner with the Vice President of Custom Solutions in leading the strategy and development of customized products for individual states and school districts. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced product leader to shape the future of education by designing and delivering customized K-12 programs in the areas of math, science, and social studies. This position can work remotely within the United States. Your contribution to the team includes: To be successful in this role the candidate must be organized, flexible, and able to work on multiple projects at once. The candidate should be experienced in the K-12 education market as well as experience managing the creation of print and digital educational products. Previous experience in education, editorial, or curriculum development is a plus. Product Strategy: Develop and execute strategic product vision for our state adoption business that aligns with the company's mission and goals. Define and prioritize product requirements, serve as an internal/external spokesperson, participate in go-to-market strategy, support the product launch, and continuously monitor product performance, the competitive environment, and market changes. Product Development: Manage your team of reports and the cross-functional support teams in the end-to-end product development process. Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by creating products that are tightly align to customer expectations and state learning standards. Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, utilizing data-driven insights to make informed product decisions. Budget Management: Manage the product budget effectively, optimizing resource allocation to maximize ROI. Collaboration: To be successful, the candidate will need to collaborate with key sales, marketing, finance, and product development stakeholders to determine the right level of customization for our products to be successful within the constraints of the set budget and schedule. What you will bring to the role: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in product management, educational technology, or K-12 curriculum. Proven track record of successfully launching and managing educational products. Strong leadership and team management skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills. Strategic thinking and ability to execute on long-term vision. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
