Acadia Healthcare Director-Facility Operations in Columbus, Ohio

At Mount Carmel Behavioral Health, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care for individuals with behavioral health needs. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Director of Facility Operations to oversee the maintenance and operations of our facility, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for both our patients and staff.

The Director of Facility Operations will serve the Mount Carmel Behavioral Health Facility will serve as a strategic member of the leadership team and as the point of contact for overall facility maintenance, including but not limited to facility, ground, and equipment maintenance, as well as serving as the Safety Officer and point of contact for survey information pertaining to the facility well-being. Mount Carmel Behavioral Health is a joint partnership between Acadia Healthcare and Mount Carmel Health Systems.

Functions include but not limited to:

  • Oversee and direct maintenance personnel, laborers, custodians and outside contractors engaged in equipment or systems installation, facilities equipment repair, preventative maintenance, painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, grounds maintenance, housekeeping, dietary, transportation functions and other projects.

  • Inspect buildings and physical plant; conduct building space studies; inspect construction, projects and contractor installations progress for conformance to standards and specifications.

  • Budget, prepare cost estimates, bid sheets, bid documents, layouts, contracts, complete work orders, requisition equipment and supplies, process billings and track budget expenses.

  • Perform functions of campus Safety Officer. Ensure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, state and federal guidelines.

  • Respond to emergency calls, including after-hour calls.

  • Works with Medical Director and Dietitian to provide oversight of dietary services assuring quality service and budgetary goals are met.

  • Direct transportation operations including maintenance of vehicles to provide optimum use of vehicles by hospital personnel.

Educational/Experience/Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business of technical field required.

  • Five (5) years' experience working with construction/maintenance experience required.

  • Three (3) years' supervisory experience required.

  • Valid/current driver's license in state of Ohio required.

  • Valid/current CPR and de-escalation certifications required.
