PwC US Tax LLP Director- Corporate Tax Generalist in Columbus, Ohio

Director- Corporate Tax Generalist, PwC US Tax LLP, Columbus, OH. Lead engagements that advise clients on local and overseas tax matters and act as a strategic consultant for business analysis, working capital management, and profit sharing among partners. Assist in understanding pricing implications for goods and services between related parties and offer guidance on the tax aspects of transactions. Help clients in enhancing their tax function to manage risk and make informed decisions. Focus on developing tax strategies, ensuring tax compliance, optimizing post-tax profits, and providing application support for optimal corporate tax practices. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks. Demonstrate in-depth technical expertise.  Supervise and coach teams. 

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax, Law or a related field, plus 7 years of related work experience, of which at least 5 years must be post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

In the alternative, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration, Tax, Law or a related field plus 5 years of related work experience.

Certification(s) required: U.S. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, Enrolled Agent, or Member of the Bar.

Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:

  • Leveraging, developing, and managing technology solutions to enable and enhance client services;
  • Working with foreign tax reporting requirements and international taxation compliance regulations;
  • Creating and analyzing complex computation and reporting solutions and articulating findings to clients in both verbal and written formats
  • Providing tax consultation services to multinational clients including application of client facts to tax law, impacts of supply chain changes, impacts of US tax reform and other items; and
  • Overseeing and managing the quarterly and the year-end tax provision calculations and assisting with technical tax issues.

     

80% telecommuting permitted. Must be able to commute to the designated local office.

Travel requirement(s): Domestic and/or international travel up to 20% required.
