Job Description
As the North American Cloud Infrastructure (NACI) business focuses on delivering scale and growth, we identified the need for strategic sellers to help lead large opportunity pursuits with our most strategic customers. As we identify clients with the potential for exponential growth made possible by large cloud growth, this role will ensure alignment between sales and engineering to deliver an efficient sales process and great customer experience during and post-sale. The NACI team is looking for highly skilled and experienced professionals to support the execution of these deals to ensure we meet our growth targets. The roles will support and report into the industry verticals within the NACI organization.
The mission of the Cloud Infrastructure Pursuit Executive is to drive Oracle’s long-term revenue growth through larger and more strategic customer transformation commitments that includes Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure. This is accomplished by working with the customer and orchestrating Oracle resources to deliver business outcomes and value-based selling strategies. In addition, they will be responsible for leading the sales & engineering team to develop strategic relationships with strategic clients and will often serve as the lead negotiator for the largest, most strategic transactions.
This role will establish relationships with some of Oracle’s most valuable and committed clients and will deliver customer value and exceptional service to achieve. revenue growth and a high degree of customer satisfaction with target clients.
Responsible for understanding customers’ strategic goals to establish a plan leveraging Oracle’s vast solutions and cloud delivered services to meet customer needs.
Work closely with the client’s C-levels and direct reports to understand near and long-term strategic initiatives, technology roadmap and business issues, translating them into feasible Oracle solutions while making bold plays.
Focus on building and strengthening Oracle’s strategic importance with customers by identifying, developing, defining, architecting, and closing large strategic deals supporting customers’ journey to the cloud.
Serve as an exceptional, high integrity representative of Oracle and have the capability of sharing Oracle’s story in a compelling manner relevant to our customers.
Establish internal credibility as a client “advocate” across Oracle so clients can leverage the full power of Oracle across our broad portfolio.

Responsibilities
The Cloud Infrastructure Pursuit Executive has a minimum of 15+ years of sales experience
Strong executive presence as customer engagements will have C-level visibility within Oracle and the customer. Excellent presentations skills are a must.
Creative deal making skills acquired by closing mega deals throughout career.
Robust experience in cloud and/or relevant technology adopted by large enterprises. Knowledge Oracle Cloud solutions is a bonus.
Track record of exceptional revenue goal achievement, preferably in cloud solutions.
Technically competent with direct knowledge and understanding of the top cloud providers, business models and deal constructs including AWS, GCP, Azure.
Ability to work collaboratively and inclusively with colleagues across the organization to bring comprehensive technology solutions and functions together to win a deal.
Strong focus on execution, with the appropriate level of drive and “toughness” to effectively manage selling opportunities in a fast-paced environment, ensuring results and deadlines are achieved while delivering a great customer experience.
Business and technology thought leadership to be able to collaborate with development, marketing, and field sales teams to shape and deliver partnership products and programs that supplement Oracle’s technology portfolio.
An enthusiastic, high-energy and motivational individual who is passionate and capable of inspiring customers and the internal sales team throughout a pursuit.
Experience partnering with world-class Systems Integrators (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte) to align and inspire strategic project plans and services-led business cases.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range: from $187,500 to $314,200 per annum. May be eligible for equity and compensation deferral. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 50/50.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
