The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team is seeking a Construction Area Enviornmental Health & Safety Manager with the passion to drive value across complex supplier relationships and demonstrated experience in implementing safety programs and processes. Strong analytical skills to effectively collaborate across internal and external stakeholders, and the drive to continuously improve and achieve business EHS related objectives will be critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities
With minimal guidance: develop, own and drive process improvement in the EHS framework within CO+I pre-operations team to deliver a safety and healthful work environment.
Work across and collaborate with multiple teams to monitor and support contractors in implementing effective EHS programs and initiatives that identify and address high-risk activities.
Practice the organization’s management approach of Model, Coach, Care site management teams in support of monitoring contractors EHS programs and processes.
Monitor the organization’s contractors EHS performance in implementing the required contractual requirements.
Ensure compliance with all Microsoft policies as well as regulatory policies at the local, federal, or regional level, and ensure that programs support accuracy, quality, appropriate review, and thorough documentation.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Safety and Health Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, related field AND 4+ years experience in Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations
OR equivalent experience.
Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or preferred qualifications:
Master's Degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field AND 6+ years Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations experience
OR Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field AND 8+ years Environmental Health and Safety Worldwide Regulations experience OR equivalent experience.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST), Construction Health and Safety Technologist (CHST) or other recognized industry professional certification.
Experience with developing and implementing organizational EHS frameworks, standards, and processes.
Experience designing, deploying, monitoring, and evaluating EHS programs.
The ability to walk on unlevel surfaces for a pro-long period.
Experience in the high-tech industry.
Fluent in Spanish
Environmental Health & Safety IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
