Aston Carter Accounts Receivable Specialist in Columbus, Ohio

Description:

• Ensure issues regarding invoices, shortages and damages are reconciled

• Ensure issues are addressed immediately and that appropriate parties are informed of resolutions

• Maintain correct information and data in Excel

• Increase industry and company knowledge by taking advantage of opportunities to learn new skills and information

• Seek out opportunities to improve current processes

• Audit and investigate discrepancies in orders

• Facilitate and improve the efficiency of the routing of freight bills and billing cycle time

• This will include proper and timely invoicing and settlements

• Inventory Control by collecting data & reports from plants

• Update various spreadsheets and reports regularly

• Field questions from Accounting, inventory and buyers

• Cross train with the Customer Service position

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel

Accounts Receivable procedures

Basic bookkeeping, credit and accounting principles

Cash applications

Customer service

Organisational skills

Effective communication

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
