Manages the 340B drug discount program, including monitoring drug purchasing, inventory processes, dispensing patterns, monthly reporting on savings opportunities, split billing software maintenance, and program compliance. Responsibilities Provides expertise on all 340B program legislation and policy changes, informing and collaborating with legal, government relations, and corporate compliance. Develops and maintains internal and external relationships. Monitors and assesses policy changes that affect the 340B program, including HRSA/OPA Rules and Medicaid changes. Routinely monitors industry publications and websites to assure the institution has the latest information. Develops and maintains 340B-related policies and procedures in accordance with state, federal, and system requirements. Ensures that individual area policies are developed and implemented and ensures compliance. Develops, executes, and documents self-audits of the entire 340B process and maintains a current state of audit readiness for the program. Coordinates all audit requests and responses, ensuring remediation of findings as necessary. Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Education: Associate's Degree in Business or Computer Science, or equivalent experience, required. Skills: Proficiency with MS Office. Attention to detail. Self-motivated, ability to self-supervise. Sound interpersonal, decision-making, investigative, and problem-solving skills. Provides outstanding customer service and maintains high degree of confidentiality. Experience: Pharmacy supply chain or 340B experience, preferred. Hospital pharmacy or hospital billing experience, preferred.
