Lead Medical Interpreter- FT
40 hours/wk, 9a-5:30p, 8 hr shift, M-F, on call days and weekends. Provides direct interpretation services for patients/families, staff, physicians and other health care providers. Must be absolutely fluent and proficient in written and spoken language skills in both Spanish and English. Fluency in additional dialects and languages preferred. Provides support to the director. Manages scheduling and logistics of interpreter team. Previous experience in Interpreting/Medical Interpreting and management experience preferred. Basic reading and writing skills necessary to record visits/interactions, filing, typing and copying as typically acquired through a HS/GED. Must be able to comprehend medical terminology. Must have a valid NE drivers license and be able to utilize own transportation during work time.
