DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Financial Analyst – Senior to join our team specializing in Finance for our corporate office in Columbus, IN.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Enhancing Decision-Making: By preparing complex financial analyses and reports, you’ll provide management with critical insights to make informed decisions.
Driving Budget Accuracy: Your involvement in the annual budget process will ensure accurate and realistic financial planning.
Optimizing Resource Allocation: Through expense and staffing forecasts, you’ll help the organization allocate resources efficiently.
Improving Financial Performance: Your detailed variance explanations and cost analysis will identify areas for financial improvement and cost savings.
Supporting Strategic Initiatives: By preparing special studies and reports, you’ll contribute to the strategic planning and execution of key projects.
Fostering Collaboration: As a business partner to various organizational units, you’ll facilitate better communication and collaboration across departments.
Mentoring Future Talent: By coaching or leading less-experienced Financial Analysts, you’ll help develop the next generation of financial experts.
Ensuring Data Integrity: Your role in consolidating financial data and statistical reporting will maintain the accuracy and reliability of financial information.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience:
Progress toward Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, Chartered Accountant or similar certification preferred.
Intermediate level of relevant professional work experience in the field of study required.
Minimum 5 years of Finance/Accounting experience
Strong finance and accounting skills
Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
Strategy experience a plus
Mandarin a plus
Additional Responsibilities:
Financial analysis related to business development and financial projects
Custodial ownership related work for Engine Business Unite Japan, Europe, and North America Joint Ventures
Engine Business Unit Global JV planning forecasting and reporting support
Compensation
