We are looking for a talented CSE Electronic Systems Technical Quality Engineer to join our team specializing in Tech QC for our BUSINESS SEGMENT in Columbus IN your remote home office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways

  • This engineering service focused position includes those who develop and maintain the information technologies, functional excellence or product information change management that enables the engineering practitioners to work more efficiently and effectively.

  • Applies technical information and knowledge based activities, fulfills work requests to standardized policies and procedures and documents results.

  • Applies and supports information processes such as Engineering Standard Work (ESW), Value Package Introduction (VPI), product change management and data repositories such as technical information libraries, all required to meet the needs of practitioners within the technical function.

  • Obtains input and negotiates with a broad variety of technical practitioners to deliver results that directly or indirectly enable high quality processes, tools, drawings or specifications.

  • Applies academic knowledge and existing experience to take action and make decisions that progress projects forward without sacrificing project quality expectations.

  • Owns problem resolution for moderately complex components, products, systems, subsystems or services with a relatively low degree of technical complexity and ambiguity.

  • Provides independent execution of established work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge; engages with the improvement of systems and processes

  • Involves minimal direct management of people, but could involve the coordination and direction of work amongst technicians and/or temporary student employees.

  • Contributes effectively toward team goals, exhibits influence within a work group and continues to develop proficiency in the competency areas critical to success in the role

Qualifications

  • Request Fulfillment - Manages a service request through its life cycle with efficiency and professionalism using the required processes and tools to maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Service Level Management - Ensures the quality of the services delivered meet agreed levels using the required processes and tools in order to maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Solution Assessment and Validation - Assesses the proposed solution using the requirements traceability through the life cycle of the requirements to determine if they deliver the desired business outcome.

  • Requirements Elicitation - Discovers and documents functional and non-functional requirements using the Business Analysis Toolkit (modeling the five aspects and creating use cases) to effectively communicate the business needs and solution characteristics for solution design.

  • Knowledge Management - Ensures perspectives, ideas, experiences and information are available in the right place and the right time using the required processes and tools to enable informed decisions.

  • Troubleshooting - Diagnoses and resolves the customer-identified issue by utilizing appropriate department standards to satisfy customer expectations.

  • Optimizes work processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Decision quality - Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or other relevant technical disciplines is required.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Minimal relevant work experience required.

Preferred candidates would have relevant experience working in a non-exempt role.

Additional Requirements for Candidate (but not limited to):

  1. Proficiency in MS Office and PowerBI.

  2. Past experience in Data Analysis and Data Slicers.

  3. Acute attention to detail.

  4. Self Drive and Motivated to make Improvements.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience, range: $76,000-$114,000. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage, and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
