ManpowerGroup Controls Engineer III in Columbus, Indiana
Our client, a leader in engine and automotive manufacturing, is seeking a Controls Engineer III to join their team. As a Controls Engineer III, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Controls Engineer III
Location: Columbus, IN 47201
Pay Range: $38.00-45.00 per hour
What's the Job?
Design and implement industrial automation and control systems.
Integrate robots, cobots, IMRs, and AGVs with IIoT platforms.
Document current processes and propose future state architectures for control systems.
Manage IIoT projects from planning through implementation, ensuring milestones are met.
Troubleshoot complex communication issues between machines, PLCs, and IIoT systems.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering, control systems engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in industrial automation, IIoT systems, and PLC programming.
In-depth knowledge of IIoT communication protocols and standards.
Strong skills in networking and IT, including industrial networking protocols.
Experience with data analytics platforms and driving digital transformation initiatives.
