Project Manager Associate

Job Requirements:

Perform day to day activities associated with assigned projects including scope management, schedule management, risk management, communications management, and process improvement.

· Act as a liaison among Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager, IT staff, internal and external customers, partners, vendors & management team on technology projects to define project scope, plan, requirements, schedule and resource needs/availability.

· Facilitate execution of assigned tasks and milestones according to deadlines, scope and within budget and according to established guidelines and best practices.

· Coordinate the efforts of MTF DM project team members, contractors, or consultants in order to deliver tasks and software according to plan.

· Document & maintain project plans; perform project status reporting, manage risks for assigned projects, conduct quality assurance testing and reviews, lead IT training, perform end user training, develop and review project technical and end user documentation and training materials, lead post-implementation reviews.

· Onboard and outboard staff following specific processes

· Update Meeting Minutes, Action Items, and documentation as required.

· Coordinate deployments, ensuring compliance with change control procedures

· Encourages an environment where the team drives progress and feels ownership for its success. Fosters an environment of cross-team collaboration and teamwork

· Facilitates discussion and conflict resolution

· Develops and reports team status and metrics to various stakeholders

· Develops and maintains a thorough knowledge of business processes and data

Develops and maintains effective working relationships with CMS stakeholders and other contractors.

Required Skills:

Proven experience:

7 – 10 years in project coordination across the full SDLC

· Hands-on working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, MS Office Suite, MS Project & PowerPoint

· Collaborating in a multiple contractor environment

Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills. Includes the ability to effectively communicate complex information to audiences with varying technical and system backgrounds and at multiple organizational levels

Desired Skills :

Proven experience with:

· 2 – 3 years supporting CMS Medicare or Medicaid programs

Education/Certifications:

· Computer Science degree or Bachelor's Degree in a related major
