AT&T Lead Financial Analyst (FA2) (Government) in Columbia, Maryland

RIS I is the delivery of regional IT services to the end user. We offer support of end user devices including desktop, workplace peripherals, and voice and video devices. We support local and campus area networks, including wireless and cable plant.

Introduction/Context: AT&T has an opening for a Lead Financial Analyst to support the team finance team.

Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assist in month end close responsibilities, customer reporting, and invoice processing.

  • Provides inputs for monthly closing requirements to include revenue recognition and labor accruals.

  • Provides input for responses to external and internal audit requests.

  • Reviews vendor labor invoices and works with internal and external partners to ensure accuracy.

  • Monitors/reports on accuracy of time sheets and vendor invoicing.

  • Proactive communication of actual or potential trends and materiel events.

  • Monitor and approve program travel requests while finding efficiencies and cost savings opportunities.

  • Provide input and assist with the creation of proposals as needed.

  • Ad hoc tasking as required in regard to customer inquiries, process improvement efforts, and other one-off tasks.

  • This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with polygraph. (#ts/sci) (#polygraph)

Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Four (4) to six (6) years’ experience with financial planning, analysis and operations in a government contracting setting. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Excellent project management/leadership skills. Excellent desktop skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Access). Requires a strong knowledge and experience with FAR, CAS, and GAAP compliance.

Our Lead Financial Analyst (FA2) (Government) earns between $89,200 - $130,000 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
