Industrial Maintenance Millwright / BoilerWage DOE: Starting at $25.56Shift: Day shift: 7:00AM - 5:30PM 4 10hours shifts. Wed - Sat or Sat - Tues. B. JOB QUALIFICATIONS:Must be 18 years or older. Experience operating, repairing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment required. Maintenance and experience on steam boilers and related equipment preferred. Safety performance and attendance are key requirements. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, job physical, and supply basic tool set. C.JOB SUMMARY:Under the supervision of the Power Plant Manager, the Millwright is responsible for the maintenance of all of the truck dump equipment, chains, sprockets, bearings, gearboxes, boiler equipment, and condensate systems. The Cogen Millwright also assists in fire systems resets, troubleshooting & repairing leaks. D.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1.Performs weekly preventative maintenance required to the truck dump and hog fuel equipment. 2.Assists in weekly work order list of repairs and fabrication of equipment. 3.Assists in troubleshooting, resetting, and repairing plant fire systems.4.Active, hands-on involvement in maintenance, critical repairs, and major upgrade projects of the power plant systems.5.Works closely with plant/mill personnel to assist in any active maintenance needs.6.Able to provide and procure required tools needed for repairs and maintenance.7.Works with all construction contractors during major upgrades and maintenance.8.Responsible for keeping inventory on hand and requesting parts and materials. necessary to complete all job duties.9.Maintains a clean work area.10.Ability to work flexible hours and schedule if needed.E.INFREQUENT JOB FUNCTIONS1.Assists in construction projects as needed2.Alert Power Plant manager and Boiler Operators of unsafe or incorrect operating procedures that can decrease equipment life or have the potential to injure operators.3.Performs other duties as required.F.PERFORMANCE STANDARDS1.Demonstrates safe, reliable, and efficient working standards 2.Demonstrates problem-solving abilities.4.Demonstrates the ability to communicate and work closely with, managers, supervisors, and other employees.5.Strives to improve equipment maintenance and operations to improve overall power plant operation and efficiency.6.Demonstrates knowledge of and compliance of power plant operating guidelines and procedures.7.Demonstrates superior attitude, performance, safety, and attendance standards.8.Demonstrates knowledge of and compliance with lock-out procedures, fall protection, confined spaces, and other vital safety concerns.9.Works well under pressure.10.Demonstrates a willingness to work varying shifts, overtime, and weekends/holidays as needed.11.Demonstrates a willingness to learn new duties and update knowledge and skills regularly.12.Promotes a safe work environment.
