VCA Animal Hospitals Veterinary Assistant @ Northwest Animal Hospital in United States
Northwest Animal Hospital is seeking experienced Veterinary Assistants to join our team. Education and/or Experience, and a dedicated interest in a career in the veterinary field a must. MUST be available Saturdays 7am -3 pm, Sundays from 9am to 1pm, Fridays, 7 am to 6 pm. Other weekdays we can offer flexibility in schedule.
This position pays $16.00 to $18.00 per hour, dependent on experience, education, certification, etc

They will take direction well and thrive in a fast paced, supportive, busy environment.
In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include:
• Maintaining medical records.
• Preparing surgical suite and surgical patients.
• Filling prescriptions.
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets.
Animal Husbandry
Cleaning and Houskeeping and Hospital Maintenance.
Walking and feeding animals
Any other duties throughout the hospital as needed and at the direction of the Leadership team.
