The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for system engineering a classified (TS/Sci) system based in Colorado Springs, CO. Candidate support for those involved in the development, design and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware/software and database management. Provides direction for the effort required to protect the companyis data, tools and information systems. Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility. Usually requires subject matter knowledge of user group for practical application of system characteristics. Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. will have the opportunity to work on new c Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Requirementis analysis System design Reliability analysis Work closely with Program leadership to ensure all System Engineering requirements are met Ensure timely and accurte CDRLs/SDRLs are submitted according to customer prescribed schedule Chair/Host/Support all required IPTs, TIMs, WGs and Ad hoc meetings Provide technical advice to our customers on architectures and potential solutions SecDevOps processes and related Agile practices (Altlassian suite) System documentation updates Work closely with system developers, test, and on-site user support personnel to support system updates, analyze and resolve system issues, and ensure project objectives are met. Develop and deliver effective customer presentations (support design reviews, status reports, kickoff meetings, test plans) demonstrating an ability to communicate comfortably at a system level Travel as necessary to attend conferences and customer meetings

7-10 years System Eengineering BS in SE, CS, EE, ME, or other engineering equivalent Support programs through SRR, PDR, CDR or equivalent design reviews Experience with SCN and satellite ground systems Familiarity with modern IT infrastructure capabilities to include virtualization, cloud deployment and containerization Candidate must be self-motivated and comfortable with supporting multiple groups of developers, engineers, and testers Candidate must be able to articulate technical concepts orally and in written forms both internally to the team as well as externally to the customer and users Excellent written and oral communications skills Working knowledge of space systems, including RF systems, and system development processes is a plus DOORS and Cameo experience is a plus Desired Skills and Experience Experience with satellite ground systems (Software and Hardware) Experience with SATCOM and SDA missions Experience with Risk management Experience with MBSE - Model-Based Systems Engineering using Cameo Experience with SecDevOps processes and related Agile practices Experience with Service Based Architecture (SBA) Experience with performing analysis and deconfliction activities in regards to security updates and application operability #LI-Onsite Competitive salary based on experience and education Salary Range: $115,000-$145,000 Kratos is valued for our ability to design and deliver leading edge, resilient solutions for aerospace communication, control, awareness and mission success across a continuum of offeringsifrom commercial to tailored custom solutions and integrated programs.
