Position Overview
Infinity is seeking Digital Engineering support for the Timber MILSATCOM contract. This digital systems engineering role will contribute to the demonstration of key capabilities and progress towards meeting overall program increments through the creation of digital engineering models as well as supporting customer engagements with digital engineering tools and methods.
Primary Responsibilities
The Staff Digital Systems Engineer will provide digital engineering support to the Architecture team with NC3 mission, International Partner, protected SATCOM, XDR waveform, and/or AEHF User terminal experience to create, update, and deliver digital engineering artifacts to include:
Development of a digital engineering master plan, that includes digital twins used to support risk reduction activities.
Development of a ground Minimum Viable Product (MVP) road roadmap for the capabilities.
Providing inputs to Ground risks and trade spaces.
Offering innovative thinking to design new ground-breaking technology in the areas of program digital engineering and digital threads.
Seamlessly integrating systems engineering methodologies and digital engineering artifacts via Cameo modeling to provide a comprehensive view of the technical and programmatic details.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have 3-6 years of relevant Digital Systems Engineering experience including experience with SysML, MBSE methods, and tools such as Cameo applying frameworks including DoDAF/UAF.
Experience with creating executable MBSE models that integrate with analytical tools.
Ability to develop, model, and communicate mission CONOPS and Use Cases.
Experience with common scripting languages (Apache Groovy, JavaScript, Python, C++, MATLAB, etc.).
Familiarity with specific Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban), development methodologies, and practices.
Systems Engineering experience to include experience with requirements definition, design, development, test, and demonstration.
Self-motivated with an ability to collaborate positively in a geographically dispersed team environment with people of different levels of experience and education.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to think critically to solve difficult problems and to learn to use new digital tools and engineering methods while working in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
MILSATCOM experience, to include Milstar and AEHF.
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
