Lockheed Martin Senior Verification Test Analyst - Secret Clearance in Colorado Springs, Colorado

What We’re Doing

Our Team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Regional team, is constantly engineering, developing and integrating new capabilities for the U.S. Missile Defense System. protecting both the United States and its allies. This large, fast paced team, is composed of many small agile teams working together dynamic environment with a common mission to develop and deploy leading-edge missile defense technologies.

The Work

• Coordinate, develop, and execute detailed test plans and procedures to test C2BMC interface design implementation in an integrated environment, test specific capabilities for interfaces, and test and analyze infrastructure in support of operations (e.g., Internal Messaging, control and monitoring, message and display recording and playback, failover processing).

• Perform in-depth analysis on any discrepancies identified to determine the source of the discrepancy. Provide recommended solutions to resolve issues. Work with other team members to ensure requirements are able to be passed.

• Execute tests of interface communication paths and capacity performance; conduct post-test data analysis and reporting.

• Create Test Discrepancy Reports to document issues and assist development with the investigation and resolution of issues.

• Develop test specifications, execute manual and automated test and perform analysis of C2BMC implementation in an integrated environment

*Position requires occasional travel between the Hwy 83 facility in Colorado Springs and the MDIOC building at Schriever SFB. Infrequent travel to Huntsville, Alabama may be required*

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have a current Final DoD Secret Security Clearance to be considered for this position

• Experience/knowledge of DoD test methodologies

• Experience resolving operational issues related to system software.

• Requirement and Verification analysis

• Functional capability related test/analysis planning and execution. Manipulation and analysis of large data sets, spreadsheets, and specifying/building associated tools to assist with analysis.

• Security+ or equivalent certification required within 60 days of starting.

Desired Skills:

• Agile development experience

• Automated testing framework experience

• Conducting post-processing and quantitative/qualitative analysis of collected data

• Development of action plans based upon analysis of data

• Documenting software deficiency reports

• Presenting analysis results and plans of action verbally and/or in written format (e.g., slides, annotated slides, test report document)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to work effectively in a small technical team environment, and to accurately represent test perspectives to C2BMC system architects, software designers, other testers and test support personnel, the Government customer, and personnel in other MDA programs

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $82,200 - $157,500. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
