Role and ResponsibilitiesSummaryThis role serves CAE USA's Defense and Security Space Domain business.Manages pursuit strategy for capturing competitive new business andre-capturing existing business. Establishes and maintains relationships withprospective customers. Supports the Lead to Award process in accordance withestablished procedures to ensure complete, accurate, technicallycompliant, and effective Company response to Customer requirements andobjectivEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilitiesto perform the essential functions.Establishes capture strategies, partnerships, and shapes new businessopportunities to match with CAE's capabilities and experienceDevelops capture plans, formulate winning capture strategies, and obtainand manage the resources necessary to prosecute capture plansOversees business capture, from pursuit decision through contract awardCoordinates with Business Development Leads to ensure a smooth transition fromthe Business Development phase to the Capture phase, and with ProposalDepartment Leads to ensure a smooth transition from Capture Phase to ProposalDevelopment phase, in the Lead to Award ProcessAssists Business Development Leads when required after a lead is qualified asan opportunity and prior to a pursuit decisionAssists Business Development Leads with customer and industry partnerrelationships and interactionsManages a capture team that develops solution, bid/win, pricing,teaming, and proposal strategiesManages the Price-to-Win developmentDevelops and maintains a capture budgetIdentifies and manages resources required to pursue a capture; establishesany infrastructures, processes, and plans necessary; and manages theirexecutioEvaluates industry competitors for strengths and weaknesses to maximizeProbability of WinWorks with the Proposal Development team to ensure compliance withsolicitation requirementsSupports and participates in the Proposal Development processWorks with Estimators to ensure proposal price is competitiveCollaborates with a wide variety of functional groups such as sales,engineering, training services, business development, manufacturing,and operations to develop and provide program definitions responsive tocustomer needs and market opportunitiesIdentifies partnering opportunitiesMaintains communications and contacts to collect and analyze technical,financial, schedule, and sales information for programQualifications and Education RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, English,Communication, related fieldAbility to successfully lead teams in a volatile and dynamic environmentAbility to quickly learn, understand and breakdown complex, high-tech systemsAbility to multi-task with minimal supervision and under pressureResult-oriented, innovative, and creativeGood organizational skills and business acumenAbility to deal with ambiguity while remaining customer focusedExcellent decision making and negotiation skillsMust have excellent communication (including technical writing) andpresentation skillsStrong communications and interpersonal skillsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office toolsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret complex documentsAbility to calculate figures and amounts, such as prices, commissions,and percentages, and to draw and interpret graphsAbility to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes fromverbal, non-verbal, and written communicationDetail oriented, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesDue to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens areeligible for this role.Preferred SkillsMaster's DegreeExtensive knowledge of DoD/Military and Interagency training methodology andprocurement practices/regulations is preferred.Recent experience in: Space Force, Air Force or related industry, Spaceand Missile Defense is preferred.Five years of experience as a capture manager in space domain pursuitsFive years of experience wor
