Job Description:

HOW A SENIOR INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • The Senior Installation Technician is responsible for installing equipment, systems, and supervises installation and assembly work done by other technicians.

  • Independently maintains equipment, systems, and conducts testing and troubleshooting.

  • Investigates equipment and system failures, to determine the cause and repair work required.

  • Knowledgeable in technical equipment, IT assets and systems within the facilities, and supports the innovation of equipment, systems and controls in the facility.

  • Troubleshoots a wide variety of hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.

  • Performs a wide variety of integrity testing and interviews customers to gather information about problems.

  • Manages employees engaged in providing information system solutions and technical support in one or more functional areas.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelors in data science, statistics, mathematics, or computer science, and minimum 5 years of hands-on IT experience

Preferred Skillset/Experience:

  • Experience in the deployment and maintenance of extensive global networks and systems, complemented by a thorough grasp of IC ITE services.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in equipment, software, and systems installations; troubleshooting, customer relationship management, change management, risk management, and IT service management.

  • Knowledgeable in ICD 503, DCID 6/3, DIA-CAP, and NIST standards to ensure robust information assurance and compliance.

  • Proficiency in classified IT environments, terminology, Equipment Life Cycles and IT Asset Management is a key asset.

  • Possess excellent communication, teamwork, leadership and conflict management, and critical thinking skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Required Certification(s): Security+ CE

Clearance Level: TS/SCI

Additional :

  • ITIL v4 certification desired

  • Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph.

The likely salary range for this position is $152,737 - $206,645. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
