The RF Technician is a mid-level position whopossesses a strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals with workingknowledge of radio frequency (RF)-based electronic systems.Responsibilities and DutiesProvides engineering analysis, integration and development supportDevelop SATCOM signal environments working with customers to meet eventexecution including link budget analysisDevelop test plans; conduct testing; interpret, document, and presentthe results to engineering peers, leadership, and the government customer.Active communication and participation in the full SDLC leveraging Agilemethodologies.Reoccurring international travel to potentially austere environments fordeployed system installations, upgrades and sustainment efforts.Performs other duties as assigned.Keyword: RFRequired Experience:Qualifications and SkillsMust have an Active TS/SCI clearanceBS or MS Degree in EE or technical degree and relevant work experienceKnowledge of SATCOM equipment including, but not limited to, antennas,HPAs/SSPAs, up/down-converters, LNAs, and modemsExperience with RF test equipment, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator,Power Meter, O-ScopeExperience with cable maintenance and fabrication, CAT-5/6, CoaxialRF, AC/DC powerExperience writing and delivering technical documents and briefingsKnowledge of SATCOM signals including modulation, error correction, andassociated signal generation equipment. Familiarity performing link-budgetanalysisExperience with troubleshooting systemsAbility to react quickly in a dynamic environmentAbility to work in a collaborative team environmentAbility to communicate technical approaches and details within small projectteams, including team interaction and presentationTypically requires +6 years of experience, and a Graduate degree.
