Overview

The PS&D scheduler will maintain a forecast and produce weekly and monthly aircraft/equipment schedules to support mission requirements. Coordinates with the Production Superintendent and/or Maintenance Lead(s) to determine maintenance capabilities, and, in turn, communicate/coordinate these capabilities with airfield and squadron scheduling offices. Ensures appropriate leadership levels are advised of maintenance capabilities, limiting production factors, and adherence to written guidance. Operates automated information systems. Reviews and maintains historical aircraft files.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with airfield and squadron scheduling by providing planning factors for aircraft availability and maintenance capability and informing them of deviations from the maintenance schedule.

  • Schedule, implement, and run planning meetings to coordinate and schedule inspections.

  • Implement, coordinate, publish and distribute an integrated aircraft schedule to support required maintenance and flying operations

  • Compute maintenance effectiveness IAW MAJCOM instructions and have the data available on request.

  • Develop and maintain processes to capture data to produce daily, monthly, and quarterly reports.

  • Input required template data in the Reliability and Maintainability Information System (REMIS) database and provide Government approved data for the MMI database.

  • Maintain a current serial number listing of aircraft and equipment maintenance repair program schedules.

  • Manage the Special Inspection, One Time Inspection, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins and Configuration Management Programs.

  • Provide a listing of Job Control Numbers (JCNs) for maintenance personnel to use.

  • Attend weekly scheduling meetings with airfield and squadron counterparts.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid state driver's license.

  • Must have extensive Microsoft Office experience, primarily with Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.

  • Excellent communication skills..

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with briefing high-level leadership.

  • Ability to multitask calmly and efficiently in a medium to high stress environment.

  • Ability to pass a standard background check so base clearance and computer access can be achieved.

Posted Salary Range

36.45/hour
