Description
We are offering an opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our team located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As part of our team, the Payroll Administrator will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of payroll processes and systems. This role involves interacting with various departments within the company, and it offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Implement and manage the company's payroll system, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees
• Conduct regular audits on payroll procedures and records to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Update payroll records based on changes to employee statuses, exemptions, and job titles
• Use accounting software systems and other tools like ADP Workforce Now, UKG, and SAP to process and maintain payroll information
• Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
• Address employee complaints related to payroll and provide necessary payroll information when required
• Exercise proficiency in various accounting functions and benefit functions, including 401k - RRSP Administration
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions based on the information available
• Utilize skills in auditing and accounting software systems to ensure efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain accurate customer credit records, ensuring all data is up-to-date and accessible.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of Ceridian software
• Ability to use Crystal Reports
• Experience in 401k - RRSP Administration
• Familiarity with About Time software
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Auditing skills
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions
