Description

LinQuest Corporation is hiring highly skilled and motivated candidates provide support to the US Space Command (USSPACECOM) J35 as a Joint Planning Subject Matter Expert. In this role, you will support the Contingency Operations Branch mission to execute adversary-based planning within 60 days to 2 years horizon; synchronize and integrate with Campaign and Contingency plans; support and execute Operational Planning Teams (OPTs); and produce and/or review concepts of operations (CONOPS), orders. An active TS//SCI clearance is MANDATORY.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support joint planning in accordance with (IAW) Joint Publication 5-0 and Joint Operations IAW the Joint Publication 3-0 series.

  • Participate in operational planning teams (OPT) charged with translating guidance into plans and orders to achieve desired objectives and/or attain a prescribed end state.

  • Produce documents including but not limited to, orders, plans, instructions, presentations, papers, and reports for government review and approval.

  • Integrate and synchronize plans, strategic concepts, designs, and methodologies, with the Joint Staff, other combatant command planning staffs and other entities.

  • Write and staff orders, plans, and instructions in support of operations and exercises.

  • Schedule, secure and set up meeting location and/or communications, invite participants, and participate in meetings in order to provide expertise and inform the commander and staff’s decision-making process.

  • Support the planning and execution of Joint Staff and USSPACECOM exercises and war-games.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • BA/BS or MA/MS desired.

  • Space operations, joint planning, and operational support at the Combatant Command-level.

  • Completion of JPME I desired, JPME II preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience in providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations for mission and program challenges.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills,

  • Ability to draft courses of action for senior officer approval based on multiple inputs.

  • Ability to brief/interactive with senior (GO/FLAG) level officer and senior civilians.

  • An active TS//SCI clearance is MANDATORY.

Compensation

• Starting salary ranges from $100,000 to $115,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
