Job Summary: Responsible for administering all computer systems used to collect and process financial and human resources information at the central administration complex and at schools throughout the District. Make strategic decisions as necessary and perform analysis, design, programming, modification, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer programs and relational databases. Configures, implements, and maintains servers (physical and virtual) hosting financial and human resources systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Resolves problems reported by and special requests from end-users related to financial and human resources information systems. Provides system expertise to extract data from system sources to meet user needs. Assists users and staff with data issues and information systems use as needed. Provides Tier 2/3 technical support of multiple staff systems to end users, responding to and resolving all trouble calls/tickets. Isolates, identifies, and troubleshoots actual and potential database performance issues. Maintains database system hardware and software integrity related to the database structures of the financial and human resources systems. Maintains and modifies systems related to application database files and structures. On database servers, creates and administers scheduled jobs in collaboration with Network Engineers to assign District network accounts. Monitors and manages system access and modifies system resource allocations to be consistent with user needs and priorities. Provides technical and application support to District time clocks to ensure functionality. Identifies user impact and decides on schedule and implementation of staff system software upgrades and enhancements to servers hosting financial and human resources information systems. Designs and maintains data export processes for cross leveling staff data between the staff information systems and other District programs, including, but not limited to, SAM, Stratustime leave updates, Stratustime to Alio payroll import, system account creation, and beginning of year SAM imports. Develops and performs testing as needed. Works with new systems and development to ensure proper integration and performance. Supervises the integration of new database software with current staff information systems. Manages new software rollouts related to financial and human resources information systems, including project management from user requirements and evaluation through implementation, testing and maintenance. Implements and coordinates collaborative meetings between Finance and Human Resources to keep data integrity at an advanced level and ensure an understanding of the impact of system changes on each department. Develops budget for ongoing support, upgrades, and maintenance of staff information systems. Collaborates with Network Engineers to ensure database system security on all financial and human resources information systems. Oversees server memory access and disk space allocations for on premise servers. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Training and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, finance, or human resources. Master's degree a plus. Over three years and up to and including five years of experience with LINQ/Alio, technical support of financial applications and/or human resources applications, program customization, server maintenance, and backup planning and implementation preferred. Advanced oral and written communication, English language, interpersonal relations, attention to detail, math, and accounting skills, and organizational skills. Advanced knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Excel. Advanced knowledge of and experience with database applications and systems and SQL Server Administration. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage confidentiality in all aspects of job. Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions and multiple priorities. Ability to promote and follow Board of Education, Superintendent, building, and department policies and procedures. Ability to communicate, interact, and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds. Criminal background check and District fingerprinting required.
