Linquest Corporation Exercises and Wargaming Analyst in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Description

LinQuest is seeking an Exercises and Wargaming Analyst to support HQ Space Training and Readiness Command located in Colorado Springs, CO. This position supports the planning and execution of US Space Force-related exercise and wargaming requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The HQ STARCOM prepares the USSF to prevail in competition and conflict through innovative education, training, doctrine, and test.

  • Manage activities in support of development of the USSF Service Exercise Plan.

  • Organize and schedule Working Group meetings with key organizations and stakeholders to identify and prioritize USSF exercise and wargaming requirements.

  • Document USSF exercise and wargaming requirements and coordinates plan through established Task Management process.

  • Prepare briefings and meeting minutes to facilitate exercise and wargaming planning and objectives.

  • Integrates/collaborates joint exercise/wargaming requirements with service exercise/wargaming activities.

  • Ensure exercise/wargaming events support Guardian and weapon system readiness

  • Deliver finalized Service Exercise Plan and update to maintain currency and alignment to USSF objectives.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience planning and executing exercises

  • BA/BS degree (5 years of relevant experience may substitute)

  • Firm understanding of space capabilities

  • Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, SpOC, STARCOM or equivalent

  • Experience with providing strategic advice, technical guidance, analysis and recommendations

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare quality products including briefings and staff packages for senior leaders

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and turn staff products rapidly in a dynamic environment

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite

  • Ability to work with both internal and external senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers

  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required to be considered for this position

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • MA/MS desired (5+ years relevant experience may substitute)

  • Experience with Joint- or Service-level strategy and/or exercise development

  • Task Management Tool proficiency

Compensation:

  • Starting salary ranges from $110,000 to $120,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
