Job Title: Drain Cleaning Technician

Department: Service

Classification: Full Time - Non-Exempt 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week Position may require daily overtime

Job Summary: Accurately identify and recommend solutions for all customers regarding sanitary blockages in residential and commercial applications while providing excellent customer service

Reports to: Utilities Manager Direct Reports: No

Essential Functions: Basic knowledge of plumbing systems so we may accurately identify and recommend solutions to the customer and team Service customer drains and regular maintenance utilizing drain cleaning equipment such as, but not limited to, snaking equipment ( "-3/4" cables, jetters, hand augers, and sanitary cameras) Assist with excavations to repair or replace sanitary systems Be able to communicate efficiently with supervisor, co-workers, office personnel and customers Understand and adhere to the company's safety standards Reviews customers' historical repair records to create an effective inspection schedule when performing service work Help educate customers on the process of work being completed and recommend future maintenance needs Work as an independent member of a team and serve in the after hours on-call rotation Able to work in various weather conditions

Education: Drain cleaning experience preferred but not required (training will be provided)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Current Colorado Driver's License Clean criminal background check Team player skills Self motivation skills Ability to complete associated paperwork for billing and collect payments from customers Ability to present a clean and professional appearance while wearing company uniforms Will be expected to keep company equipment clean inside and out as well as organized Strong problem solving skills

Work Environment: This job operates in commercial and homeowner environments. The role routinely includes driving to multiple worksites each day and working in unfamiliar environments.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, speak, hear, use eye/hand coordination, use motor skills, and lift 50 pounds without assistance. The employee must be able to carry and use ladders and all necessary material for specific jobs. Routinely and works in confined spaces, crawlspaces, attics, and ditches. The employee must be able to stoop, crawl, balance, kneel, and crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Job duties will require the employee to speak, hear, and understand verbal communication.

Pay Range: Non-Union $25.00 per Hour Union Wage if Applicable
