We accept challenging assignments and drive projects fromthe planning stages, through implementation, and into operations and support.ResponsibilitiesDuties include, but not limited to:As the Cybersecurity Lead (IAM III) you shall have an understanding of SCNmission critical aspects of Government risk management and DoD space programsand projects.The Cybersecurity Lead shall lead and perform all functional duties, even ofthe lower labor categories, perform as the cybersecurity task lead andrequire no immediate training.The Cybersecurity Lead shall have appropriate certifications and easilytransition between requirements without the need for Government oversight.The Cybersecurity Lead shall apply knowledge of cyber policy, procedures,and workforce structure to develop, implement, and maintain a secureenclave environment.The Cybersecurity Lead shall have deep knowledge of Higher Headquarters, Airand Space Force, Space Command, processes and procedures as it relates totheir functional responsibility and speak and write Air and Space Force andSpace Acquisition terminology appropriately.Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish enclavesecurity related goals.Ensure that protection and detection capabilities are acquired or developedusing the IS security engineering approach and are consistent with DoDComponent level cyber architecture.Prepare or oversee the preparation of cyber certification and accreditationdocumentation.Evaluate technical solutions to determine if proposed security solutionseffectively address enclave requirements, Identify IT security programimplications of new technologies or technology upgrades.Interpret security requirements relative to the capabilities of newinformation technologies.Interpret patterns of non-compliance to determine their impact on levels ofrisk and overall effectiveness of the enclave's cyber security posture.Analyze identified security strategies and select the best approach orpractice for the enclave.Ensure that security related provisions of the system acquisition documentsmeet all identified security needs.Evaluate development efforts to ensure that baseline security safeguards areappropriately installed.Evaluate the presence and adequacy of security measures proposed or providedin response to requirements contained in acquisition documents.Take action as needed to ensure that accepted products meet Common Criteriarequirements.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the enclaves' cyber securityprocedures and safeguards and shall ensure the level of protection requestedby the GovernmentQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Citizenship: Must be a US citizenClearance: Must have an active TS/SCICertification: Must have an approved IAM Level III Certification per DODD8140.01 and/or DOD 8570.01M. - Certified Information
