Daycare & Preschool Teacher | Colorado Springs | Full-Time & Part-Time
The Sunshine House Early Learning Academy is seeking a Childcare Teacher for our NAEYC-accredited school in Colorado Springs. Full-time and part-time positions are available. We are hiring immediately, and would love to meet you!
Lead Teacher starting pay: $16-$18/hour, starting rates based on education and experience.
Assistant Teacher starting pay: $15-$16/hour, starting rates based on experience.

Current Teaching Positions Available:
Lead Toddler Teacher, full-time; must be able to work until 6PM
Lead Pre-K Teacher, full-time; must be able to work until 6PM
Lead Float Teacher and Bus driver (must have LT qualifications), full time and part-time available; must be able to work until 6PM.
Substitute Lead Teacher/ Cook
Teacher Duties:
Implement our award-winning curriculum in a way that meets each child's unique learning style.
Foster relationships with children and provide a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Document and share with families the important milestones in a child’s day using our app.
Welcome families and engage them in conversation about their child's education and development.
Have fun and work as part of a supportive team!
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required and must be at least 18-years-old.
Previous teaching experience in licensed childcare preferred.
Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field preferred.
Lead Teacher: Starting pay of $16-$18/hour, based on education and experience.
Must have the following qualifications to be considered:
Early child development college courses
Completed college degree
Current CDA
Early childhood or special education professional development trainings through the state such as EQUIT or pyramid plus
Credential 3.0 level 2 or higher
