Barilla for Professionals wants to recruit a Key Account Manager within the Sales department at Barilla Deutschland GmbH. The individual will be based in Cologne and will report to the Customer Team Leader - Food Service.
Barilla for Professionals is oriented to the customer’s requirements and experiences in the out of home area. The food service department is specialized on professional and tailored solutions for national and regional wholesale distributors as well as caterers and gastronomy key accounts in the food service sectors.
The portfolio encloses our Barilla (Pasta, Sauces, Pesti) and Wasa brands.
Key Accountabilities
Autonomous Key Account Management, including year-end-talk negotiations of national wholesale distributors, its subsidiaries as well as regional wholesalers
Drive, implement and monitor client-specific sales strategy in consideration of the appropriated budget, company and key account goals
Proactive development and management of the area of the responsibilities with the objectives of new acquisitions of catering and system gastronomy key accounts
Develop and implement customer business plans outlining strategies for sales growth
Produce accurate sales forecasts in order to plan sales activities and monitor them
Preparation of volume plans, incl. planning of volumes and resources for an effective customer management
Prepare and lead effective negotiations with customers that assure we reach our financial and volume targets
Provide detailed client- and market-specific analysis on new products
Your Profile
University degree, e.g. in Business Administration, or a comparable education
Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in Key Account Management Food Service in a FMCG company
Strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Great communication and negotiation skills in German and English
High level of autonomy, proactivity and engagement as well as being a team player
Demonstration of ownership, showing curiosity and creativity, while building strong and trustful relationships
