ManpowerGroup Production Operator in Colo, Iowa
Our client in Ames is looking for Production Operators for 1 st shift for 3-6 months. Are you looking for a fast-paced, physical position? Do you have forklift and/or production experience? The ideal candidate will have previous production and machine operation experience. Candidates must live within 25 miles of Ames.
Job Title: Production Operator
Location: Ames
Pay Rate: $19.50
What is the job?
Tearing and pouring bags of powdered nutrients into hopper to blend with animal food
Keeping assigned workstation safe and clean
Shrink wrapping boxes and setting up for delivery
Moving material around warehouse when needed on forklift (will be trained to operate forklift)
Working with machines and on computers
What’s Needed?
A desire to work in a fast-paced production environment that stresses safety
Simple basic math skills
Attention to detail, specifically the difference between lot numbers and product numbers
A high school diploma/GED and live within 25 miles of Ames
Ability to pass a post offer drug test and background check
What's in it for me?
1 st Shift – 6AM-2:30PM, Mon-Fri for 3-6 mos
If the position is extended, the employee will move to 2nd shift- 2P-12:30A,M-F
