Job Summary

The Senior Operations Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing the distribution footprint. Their primary role involves assessing distribution operations, including inventory and warehouse space, to improve efficiency and reduce costs. They will be tasked with building models and reporting to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance network performance. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Primary Duties

  • Develop, maintain, and improve data models for network distribution. Create logic to define and monitor actual performance and identify operational opportunities to maximize space and execution.

  • Develop, track, analyze, and report on functional KPI’s within distribution network operations. Includes root-cause analysis, trend analysis and benchmarking studies.

  • Build visualization reporting and dashboards across Business Intelligence (BI) platforms, such as Power BI and Qlik, to provide data-driven narratives for leadership and to support front-line contributors.

  • Collaborate with contributors and necessary IT partners to identify opportunities and improve existing processes and procedures to enhance the speed and accuracy of data and its updates.

  • Provide support on projects by providing subject matter expert advice related to the integration and processing of data relevant to the business.

  • Provide support as a subject matter expert on master data within SAP, understand data points and its implications, and partner with DC Site Teams as needed to drive network enhancement.

  • Complete ad hoc analysis, reports, Win-Shuttles, and presentations as required.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate ability and expertise to utilize quantitative and analytical skills to assess business situations and put forward plausible solutions.

  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office and Power Platform.

  • Ability to work in a cross functional environment and at times with multiple priorities.

  • Demonstrate ability to manage multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and presentation skills.

Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or Engineering

  • Distribution/DC Operations experience a must

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics

  • Advanced experience in BI & analytics tools (Power BI, Qlik, SQL and similar technologies)

  • Experience with SAP and HANA
