Mississippi Employer Skilled Welder in Collins, Mississippi

We are currently seeking experienced and skilled Welders/Fabricators to join our team. If you have a strong background in welding and fabrication, particularly with aluminum welding experience, we want to hear from you. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading blueprints or schematics, capable of passing a welding test, and committed to producing high-quality work. Responsibilities:

  1. Perform welding and fabrication tasks according to project specifications and requirements.
  2. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine welding procedures and layout.
  3. Set up welding equipment and select appropriate welding methods based on materials and project specifications.
  4. Weld and fabricate components using various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
  5. Inspect welds and fabricated parts for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.
  6. Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, shears, and grinders to prepare materials for welding and fabrication.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.
  8. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and meet project deadlines.
  9. Troubleshoot and resolve welding and fabrication issues as they arise, demonstrating problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality control, and workplace conduct.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
  2. Proficiency in aluminum welding techniques is highly desired.
  3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics accurately.
  4. Demonstrated ability to pass a welding test, showcasing proficiency in various welding methods.
  5. Strong attention to detail and quality, with a commitment to producing work of the highest standard.
  6. Physical strength and stamina to perform welding and fabrication tasks in a demanding environment.
  7. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  10. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
