Working with the Digital and IFM/Energy sourcing team of procurement experts, you will play an important role in negotiating contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods, services and supplies. You will facilitate category management, purchase goods and services for ongoing operations and manage corporate services.
As a Senior Associate, your knowledge and skills will contribute towards the goals and objectives of the procurement team. Your focus and ability to meet team targets will help in completing critical deliverables. Your innovative use of communication tools and techniques will help clarify difficult issues and establish consensus between teams.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to the completion of projects, manage own time to meet agreed targets, and develop plans for activities on own projects.
Ensure supplier relations are consistent with company values and in compliance with established procurement policies and procedures.
Identify ways of improving the procurement processes, tools, policies and procedures, to drive efficiency and proactive engagement in opportunities.
Lead and manage contract negotiations to ensure necessary quality, and service levels are met at the most competitive cost in the market.
Interface with Pfizer Procurement groups to assure alignment with pre-established strategies.
Deliver Market/Site category management, including the development of specific strategies for assigned categories.
Support complex local sourcing initiatives, including spot buying as required.
Apply appropriate strategic sourcing tools and educate local teams and stakeholders on best practices.
Manage and support sites in the rapid resolution of supplier quality and material issues.
Support project office activities to assure tasks are executed among team in quality and timely manner.
Meet with finance representatives regularly to understand actual, forecast and planned expenditure to assess opportunities for assigned categories.
Mediate to resolve service-related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
Support the analytical requirements defined by the reporting line, create key sourcing documents and identify the primary groups or key positions with which this position will have interaction.
Engage with your counterparts in other teams to share knowledge and best practices.
Assure compliance of corporate policies, local policies and procedures and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (also cGMP) Environment, Health & Safety (Local applications) and Sarbanes-Oxley.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of demonstrated experience
Related work experience in Procurement or Finance discipline is required, ideally within a large, complex multi-national company
In-depth experience of strategic sourcing, category management and strategic supplier management
Able to demonstrate advanced use of analytical tools along with good problem-solving facilitation and analytical skills
Strong negotiating techniques and knowledge of procurement procedures
Client engagement and customer relationship management skills
Good problem solving, facilitation and analytical skills
Ability to effectively manage competing priorities with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree
relevant pharmaceutical experience
Cross-site, cross-functional project skills and experience
Ability to interface effectively with colleagues throughout the organization to achieve desired customer service results

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $70,200.00 to $117,000.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 10.0% of the base salary.
