Responsibilities:-Study the molecular and physiological mechanisms of Diabetes Mellitus and diabetes-induced cardiac dysfunction and heart failure, particularly focusing on the action of insulin, glucagon, adrenergic receptor ligands, or angiotension II in the liver and heart tissues.-Maintain laboratory equipment and order laboratory supplies.-Present research data for publication and presentation. Assist in grant writing.-Other job related duties as assigned.
