Job Description
The Administrative Coordinator I oversees office management and provides comprehensive administrative support, including managing the supervisor's calendar, coordinating meetings, monitoring financial resources, ordering supplies, and handling travel arrangements and reporting. This role ensures efficient office operations and assists with various documentation needs.
Responsibilities:
Serves as Office Manager, with office in HRBB 609C.
Manages Outlook Calendar for supervisor as primary delegate.
Coordinates meetings, prepares agendas, and organizes/tracks action items. Schedule and ensure calendar management for meetings.
Monitors supervisor's financial resources on Maestro and produces monthly balance/expense status (works closely with Grant Program Specialist, SRS, and Business office.)
Orders supplies and other items as requested.
Compiles reports and other documents as requested.
Coordinates travel arrangements, prepares itineraries, and completes reports on CONCUR. Including supervisor's public speaking engagements,
Performs other duties as assigned.
What We Need:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to professionally interface with high-level executives in Washington DC for travel.
Proficient in Microsoft tools: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
