Robert Half Bookkeeper in Coeur D'alene, Idaho

Description

Robert Half with a well-established manufacturing company in Coeur d'Alene, ID, to find a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper for an immediate contract or contract-to-hire position. This role is perfect for candidates who have comprehensive experience with full-cycle accounting, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), payroll, financial statement preparation, and working closely with external CPA firms.

This is an immediate, contract opportunity. This position is fully on-site in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-Cycle Accounting: Oversee all aspects of the accounting process, ensuring transactions are accurately recorded and financial statements are timely prepared.

  • Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable: Manage vendor payments, customer invoicing, and collections, ensuring strong cash flow management.

  • Payroll Processing: Process payroll in compliance with applicable regulations, ensuring accurate deductions, benefits, and timely payments.

  • Financial Statements: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.

  • CPA Firm Collaboration: Work closely with the company’s external CPA firm to ensure tax compliance, audits, and financial reporting are accurate.

  • QuickBooks Management: Use QuickBooks to maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reporting.

  • Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the financial data aligns with actual transactions.

  • General Ledger Maintenance: Record journal entries and ensure the general ledger is accurate and up to date.

    Requirements

QuickBooks proficiency is required.

  • Experience with payroll processing and familiarity with payroll systems.

  • Ability to prepare financial statements and effectively manage both AP and AR functions.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both internal teams and external partners (including CPA firms).

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.

  • Experience with manufacturing accounting or working within a manufacturing company is a plus.
