Position Summary:
Assist customers by loading parcels into vehicles; maintain the outside area of the store, and return shopping carts to the inside of the store. Fred Meyer also requires that all associates perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Demonstrate the companys core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.\ Essential Job Functions:
- Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
- Load customer parcels into vehicles
- Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of parcel loading area and outside yard
- Put away returned merchandise
- Perform check stand housekeeping tasks
- Clean spills in Central Checkout (CCK) area and clean/stock restrooms
- Retrieve carts from parking lot
- Comply with all corporate policies
- Promote and follow company initiatives
- Bag and carry out groceries for customers (where applicable)
- Maintain flexibility to work any shift
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
