One Health Clinic Site Manager in Cody, Wyoming

As a Clinic Site Manager (CSM), you'll be responsible for supporting the mission and goal achievement, organizational quality, and patient-centered care of One Health patients by providing management and leadership to a designated health center site(s). The CSM fosters collaboration and cooperations among all staff. CSM will plan, develop, organize, evaluate, and direct clinic support staff and site activities. In partnership with the Regional Director, the CSM will assure the smooth operation of clinic-based services and achievement of productivity goals.

Unlicensed: $59,508.80-$61,276.80/year, DOE LPN: $62,899.20-$68,744.00/year, DOE RN: $74,880.00-$80,246.40/year, DOE

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certificates/Licenses:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or in lieu degree, of eight (8) years’ experience or a combination of associates’ degree and four (4) years’ of experience

  • BLS certification upon hire

  • Valid driver’s license

    Experience:

    Required

  • Five (5) years of experience in field of work OR at least three (3) years working at One Health in a clinical setting.

  • Minimum one (1) year experience in direct supervision of employees

    Preferred

  • Worked for a Federally Qualified Health Center

    Manager Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day management of all operations of assigned service line or business site(s).

  • Responsible for application of policy and procedure at local clinic or administrative site(s) and employee’s adherence to policy and procedure.

  • Leads and supervises direct reports as required, which includes, but is not limited to:

  • Hiring, firing, and managing employee time, attendance, conflict, and disciplinary measures as required.

  • Evaluating employee performance.

  • Coaching, mentoring, reinforcing positive behaviors, and accountability for employment expectations and policy and procedure adherence.

  • Serves in a middle management role, providing a vital link between front line staff and senior leadership.

  • Implements and leads change management activities effectively, as defined by senior leadership.

  • Provides decisive authority over tasks assigned to direct reports.

  • Models leadership qualities by instilling trust, providing clear communication, and actively building relationships across organizational units

  • Oversees and supervises leadership activities, as assigned, within their field of work.

    Position Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages the daily operations of identified sites and service locations by providing overall direction and guidance to clinical and non-clinical staff assigned to the site.

  • Supervises and coordinates, directly and through those responsible, various personnel actions including, but not limited to, recruiting, hiring, competencies/training, performance evaluations, discipline , promotions, monitoring time and attendance and vacation schedules to ensure the clinic operates in an efficient manner and patients receive high quality care and customer service.

  • Remains knowledgeable of support staff roles and responsibilities (examples include but are not limited to: EHR functions, patient appointment scheduling, patient check in and check out, patient rooming) as well as areas of practice to provide continuity of services during position vacancies; maintains work schedules for all staff. Maintains appropriate EHR access and skills.

  • Ensures staff scheduling is appropriate to provide best patient/client service possible while within the parameters of the labor budget, working to minimize overtime. This includes coordinating and communicating proactively with the staff, other One Health clinics and community partners as necessary.

  • Understands and participates as necessary in reporting and monitoring of organizational performance metrics, specifically, identifying, collecting, and analyzing business metrics, patient outcomes, and QI/QA metrics consistent with the organization’s business plan, strategic plan, state programs and other selected programs or grant-funded projects. Uses performance data to identify and define problems and determine priorities for improvement actions.

  • D evelops and understands the site budget in conjunction with the Regional Director, and vacation approves purchases per budget. Plans and implements action to address variances.

  • Determines physical maintenance, equipment needs and repairs. Coordinates with facilities team appropriately. Resolves problems arising within the specified sites on a day-to-day basis to ensure the environment supports employee engagement and safety and meets patient expectations.

  • A ssists to coordinate and support community partnerships that achieve seamless care and advance One Health’s mission

  • Maintains AHA BLS CPR Trainer certification. Schedules and teaches classes, as needed.

  • Furthers the mission of One Health through active development and support of the strategic goals.

  • Adheres to all One Health Policies and Procedures.

  • Participates in performance optimization and risk management activities as required.

  • Cooperates and abides by all elements of One Health’s Compliance Program.

  • Provides exceptional customer service and models the mission of One Health when interacting with internal and external stakeholders promoting a positive image for the health center.

  • Other duties may be assigned as required or needed with or without prior notification.
