CDL Truck Driver Summary

The CDL Truck Driver position is responsible for transporting materials and supplies to and from well sites. The position is diverse and may vary daily. This employee works with equipment they are qualified to operate. This position requires working in all types of inclement and extreme weather conditions. The position also requires a commitment to delivering a high level of service, following safety rules, federal and state laws and regulations, and always representing the company in a highly professional and courteous manner.

Role and Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles for safe operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Load, secure, and unload cargo.
• Safely operate trucks.
• Follow DOT regulations.
• Follow traffic laws.
• Planning routes
• Keep accurate records of deliveries/manifests.
• Work and commit to a company-wide culture that ensures that Safety is everybody's business.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid commercial driver's license. Class B with Tanker endorsement is preferred, and Class A is preferred.
• Minimum 1-2 years of commercial vehicle driving experience preferred.
• Must be able to drive a standard transmission.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• The candidate must pass the company drug screen and background check before employment.
• The candidate must be willing and able to work in a field environment in all weather and noisy environments. The candidate must also be able to use hands, arms, and legs to manage, install, position, move materials, and manipulate things.
• This physically demanding position requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, lift heavy materials, carry, push, pull, climb stairs and ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, bend repeatedly, and reach high and low.

Compensation

Approximately 40-50 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, First shift. The hourly rate ranges from $23 per hour, depending on experience.
