Job Title: Automation/Robotics Technician - 3rd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Automation/Robotics Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing over 100 robots, as well as handling PLC troubleshooting and electrical components.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and troubleshoot over 100 robots including Sepro, Fanuc, and others.

  • Perform PLC troubleshooting, particularly with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.

  • Diagnose and repair issues with sensors on robots.

  • Dismantle defective machines and equipment, and install new or repaired parts.

  • Install and repair electrical components, including 480v transformers and wiring.

  • Perform robotic cell set up and change over, including program touch up, end of arm tooling adjustment, and fixture set-up to achieve 1st piece approval.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Essential Skills

  • 5 years of experience as a robotics/automation technician.

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

  • Strong PLC troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with robotic arm changes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Steel toe boots.

Work Environment

This is a non-climate controlled environment. The position is for the third shift, from 11:00pm to 7:00am, Monday through Friday, with the requirement to be open to overtime. Currently, the team works two Saturdays a month.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clyde, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00
