Snowflake Inc. Senior Technical Program Manager- Compliance & Security in Clyde Hill, Washington

We are looking for a motivated technical program manager to drive strategic and highly visible product compliance and security programs at Snowflake. They should be process-oriented and comfortable putting effective mechanisms in place to streamline decision-making and ensure the right level of diligence. You will need to be comfortable driving consensus on issues based on risk profiles and concrete data, engaging partner teams to both benchmark and influence policies, understanding business needs and responding to escalations. PROFESSIONAL FUNDAMENTALS Be responsible for defining and delivering important programs with broad organizational, business and technical impact. Provide cross-functional leadership with Engineering and Product Management, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes. Bring strong, data-driven and strategic technical judgment to decisions. Work closely with Software Engineers across various teams and Product Managers to get high-quality products and features through the software project lifecycle. Amplify your impact by educating and mentoring the TPM and Engineering communities on program management best practices. Identify opportunities to improve the execution of the organization as a whole, to increase engineering productivity through tools and process improvements. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields or equivalent practical experience. 5+ years of industry experience with technical subjects and emerging technologies. Have experience driving cross-functional projects, building longer-running programs, and interfacing with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong understanding of Compliance & Security concepts Have experience reporting on complex programs through data-driven benchmarks. Have strong interpersonal skills that enable you to influence without authority, and build cross-organizational support, cooperation, and action around security initiatives, policies and procedures. Are used to working through trade-offs, balancing competing priorities, and having your mind changed. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience with cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and principles. Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences. Successful experience working, collaborating, and establishing credibility and relationships with leadership, colleagues, and clients. Ability to adapt, to be flexible, and to learn quickly in a dynamic environment. Excellent team player able to work with virtual and global cross-functional teams. The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated base salary range for this role is $169,000 - $258,700.
