Smartsheet is looking for a Manager of Consulting who will lead and inspire a team of Consultants. You will manage the operational aspects of your regional team. In addition to managing full business operations, the Manager will have responsibility for business development, internal process optimization, quality oversight and be intentional in coaching and leading future leaders of the organization. The Manager will be responsible to the business through meeting financial and operational goals, interviewing, and development of resources. You will also translate the Consulting vision into operational execution plans. We are looking for a leader with a unique blend of proficiency in technology-based solutions, people management skills, business development knowledge and client relationship-management experience. You Will: Operationalize and execute Professional Services' goals from leadership through direct/indirect involvement in project management oversight Interview, hire, and directly manage solutions consultants to build a high performing team to meet department key performance indicators (KPIs) Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities Leverage the performance management process including encouraging employee goal setting, providing feedback, and completing the annual review process Provide guidance throughout the Consulting engagement lifecycle to ensure maximum customer value and satisfaction Drive organizational growth through project ownership of Professional Services' initiatives aligned to organization and Company strategy, industry objectives and key results Coordinate with internal partners from sales and customer success to support client escalations and drive resolution recommendations Understand and communicate industry trends and company objectives that impact the prioritization of your teams' activities Partner with Resource Management team to ensure consultant workloads are balanced and skills and interests are matched to project opportunities Other duties as assigned You Have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education (minimum 7 years) Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic, growth-oriented environment with the ability to quickly adapt and shift priorities Work experience designing, selling, and delivering solutions in a SaaS Professional Services environment, preferably with team lead/people management responsibilities Excellent client management skills and the ability to work with customers in both pre- and post-sales environments Experience building & leading high performing teams Experience applying change management and business process optimization strategies Willing to travel periodically (up to 40%) based on customer and business need Perks & Benefits: HSA, 100% employer-paid premiums, or buy-up medical/vision and dental coverage options for full-time employees Equity - Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) for eligible roles Lucrative Employee Stock Purchase Program (15% discount) 401k Match to help you save for your future (50% of your contribution up to the first 6% of your eligible pay) Monthly stipend to support your work and productivity Flexible Time Away Program, plus Incidental Sick Leave US employees are automatically covered under Smartsheet-sponsored life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability plans US employees receive 12 paid holidays per year Up to 24 weeks of Parental Leave Personal paid Volunteer Day to support our community Opportunities for professional growth and development including access to LinkedIn Learning online courses Company Funded Perks, including a counseling membership, local retail discounts, and your own personal Smartsheet account Teleworking options from any
